Selmon Expressway Reversible Express Lane (REL) Hours Hurricane Irma

TAMPA – September 7, 2017 – In preparation for Hurricane Irma, the REL will be open eastbound from today until Tuesday, September 12^th.

Because of the preparation work to secure the gates on the ramps to the REL, the morning opening is expected to be delayed, perhaps up to an hour.  Drivers are urged to check the THEA home page, www.tampa-xway.com to an up-to-the-minute status on the direction of the REL.

Again, the REL will NOT open westbound on Friday, September 8^th or Monday, September 11^th.

The Expressway Authority’s offices and walk-in toll collection center will be closed Friday, September 8 until Tuesday, September 12.
