THEA Extends Partnership with Florida Tax Collector Offices for Easier Customer Payments of Unpaid Selmon Expressway Tolls

Tampa, Fla., (July 11, 2024) – The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) has expanded its partnerships with tax collector offices across the State of Florida. The expansion will give the offices the tools they need to collect payment for unpaid Selmon Expressway tolls along with a customer’s registration renewal transaction. The new partnerships are with the tax collector for Brevard, Charlotte, Citrus, Hernando, Indian River, Pasco, Pinellas, Sumter, St. Lucie, and Walton counties.

The partnerships between THEA and the tax collector offices aims to provide a more efficient and user-friendly experience for residents throughout Florida. Allowing residents to make toll payments and registration renewal in one visit saves customers time and added stress. It also ensures they remain compliant with state regulations and up-to-date on toll payments.

“We value any opportunity to collaborate and create key community partnerships that bring ease to our residents and Selmon Expressway customers. The partnership expansion will make it more convenient for our customers who travel across the state and allow them to conduct business with both of our organizations in one location,” said Greg Slater, THEA CEO and Executive Director.
