Preview of the 2023 FAV Summit

Each year Florida continues to lead in advancing innovative Automated, Connected, Electric, and Shared (ACES) transportation technologies.

This year, THEA is thrilled to host the 11th Annual Florida Automated Vehicles Summit in Tampa. The summit will take place September 6th through the 8th at the Tampa Marriott Water Street, with Florida leaders coming together to celebrate, network, and showcase their plans for mobility technology.

Attendees of the #2023FAVSummit have the chance to participate in hands-on demonstrations of new technologies, listen to panels and discussions from industry leaders, engage in workshops, network with like-minded industry experts, and more. This unique summit is the only event statewide that brings attendees this much access, research, and inspiration regarding leading transportation technology.

This year’s keynote speaker is Cathie Wood. Wood is the CEO and CIO of Ark Investment Management LLC, where she identifies large-scale investment opportunities resulting from technological innovations, including robotics and artificial intelligence. Her foresight in electric vehicle (EV) technologies has been particularly noteworthy, with Wood serving as a vocal advocate for the widespread adoption of EVs – recognizing their potential to revolutionize the automotive industry and reduce carbon emissions. Her vision aligns perfectly with the summit’s focus on autonomous and electric transportation advancements.
