Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce Elects Joe Waggoner to Board of Directors

Tampa, FL – The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) is pleased to announce that Joe Waggoner, has been elected to serve on the Board of Directors for the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce with a term that ends 12/31/2020.

Waggoner has served as THEA CEO for over ten years, transforming the expressway into an independent, self-sustaining toll agency with a focus on innovation. Under his leadership, the agency’s improvements showed in a 2017 bond rating from Standard & Poor’s Global Ratings of A+, ranking them among top-ranked credit performers allowing THEA to do more transportation projects to enhance the Bay region.
