Tampa, FL (June 18, 2024) – The Tampa Hillsborough Expressway Authority (THEA) announces a forthcoming overnight closure of the Selmon Expressway West Extension for routine bridge inspections on June 20, 2024, at 8:00 pm. The closure is part of THEA’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and integrity of the Selmon Expressway. Motorists should anticipate only minor delays. THEA kindly requests drivers to use Gandy Boulevard’s local lanes during the overnight closure, minimizing the impact on your travel plans.

The closure starts on Thursday, June 20, 2024, at 8:00 pm and will reopen on Friday, June 21, 2024, before 6:00 am.
