Temporary Lane Closure and Sidewalk Detour on Meridian Avenue

Construction is officially underway on the AC Moxy Hotel project. While there is not a dedicated official webpage for the hotel, the 13-story dual-branded project at 111 N. Meridian Avenue broke ground in Spring 2026 and is slated to open in early 2028. 

To support construction activities and keep crews, pedestrians, and drivers safe, a temporary northbound lane closure and sidewalk detour are now in place along Meridian Avenue. The sidewalk on Meridian Avenue between E. Whiting Street and E. Washington Street is closed for the duration of construction. Pedestrians will be safely redirected into a protected travel lane using clearly marked detour signage.
